Welcome to the Virtual Public Open House for the I-40 East Corridor Study, Section 1 from Reno Avenue to Hudiburg Drive in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. This open house covered the westernmost portion of the I-40 East Corridor that extends from Reno Avenue to I-240. The I-40 East Corridor is separated into three sections for study purposes:

 

•    Section 1: Reno Avenue to Hudiburg Drive
•    Section 2: Hudiburg Drive to Douglas Boulevard
•    Section 3: Douglas Boulevard to I-240

 

Section 3 is currently under construction. ODOT is still studying options in Section 2. A public meeting on that section will follow once the study is completed.

 

This website will present the findings of ODOT’s study of Section 1 of the I-40 East Corridor as well as more detailed information about the upcoming construction project on I-40 over Sunnylane Road.

In-Person Public Meeting: August 22, 2024

An in-person public meeting was held on Thursday, August 22 at 6:00 p.m. at the Del City Community Center, 4505 SE 15th Street, in Del City 🔗. A presentation was held at 6:15 p.m.

 

The same information that is on this website was presented at that open house, and ODOT and Project Team staff will be available to answer questions. The deadline for comments is September 5, 2024.
